Historic cabinets have historically been places to display the oddities and rarities of the time. Collectors would often place the objects in different categories that reflected their world view. The final room of Loca Miraculi contains a China Cabinet displaying objects from the Chipstone Foundation's collection divided into multiple categories: rarities, extinct things, errors and unexplained things.
Loca Miraculi is an exhibition at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
