Opened in 1973, the Van Gogh Museum houses the world's largest collection of works by Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890). The museum also presents an extensive collection of works by other 19th-century artists. Our mission is to make the life and work of Van Gogh and the art of his time accessible to as many people as possible in order to enrich and inspire them.
