Art historian John House discusses paintings made by Pierre-Auguste Renoir of his favorite model, Lise Trehot. Two of these paintings are in the Wendy and Emery Reves Collection at the Dallas Museum of Art, Lise in a White Shawl and Lise Sewing. This lecture is part of the Richard R. Brettell Lecture Series, which invites notable scholars of 19th- and 20th-century European art to present new research and fresh interpretations of the DMA's modern masterworks.
