Marie Retpen hot works large pieces that will eventually become part of a large installation. She finds inspiration for her surreal works in the novels Alice in Wonderland and Alice through the Looking Glass, and in the movie The Terminator. Retpen was an April 2010 Artist-in-Residence at The Studio, the glassmaking school of The Corning Museum of Glass.
