From September 5 - September 12, 2014, the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery piloted exterior lighting and projections on the museum's F-Street entrance, in Washington, D.C.  We spoke to Alex Cooper, Lighting Specialist at the National Portrait Gallery, about the project.

This lighting pilot project was made possible through the generosity of Philips Lighting, Color Kinetics, Quince Imaging, and Atmosphere Lighting.
